Due to how crazy 2020 has been, we’ve all been doing a little bit more online shopping this year, right? I was so good for the first part of the quarantine but then I got the itch to grab a few things. You can find SO many amazon products on Amazon, so every week I’ve decided to share some of my must have products with you!
1- Memory Making Mom by Jessica Smartt: I picked up this book awhile back and read it cover to cover. It brought a few tears to my eyes realizing how it is up to us as moms to deposit into our children’s memory bank. These memories do not have to be huge , exspensive or complicated just creating simple traditions is what it is all about. The author gives so many ideas and one we adopted was “Fancy Spper” nights. I went to the thrift store and bought a table cloth, some ” old lady” china and some candle sticks and no matter what we are having for supper we set the table “fancy”. the kids loved it.
2-Ekouaer Women’s Sleepwear: If you know me you know I love me a good mumu!!! I found this nightgown comes in over a dozen colours and has great reviews! Most importantly, it has pockets!
3- Glow Kids, by Dr. Nicholas Kardaras: I have been following Collin Kartcher on IG for years and his mission to get kids ( and adults) off screens is mind blowing. The research he has done into how screens/social media addiction is devastating to children’s mental and emotional health will blow your mind Check out his TedTalk as soon as you can. Collin recommends every parent read Glow kids which examines the effects that screen addiction can have on our children.
4- Polaroid ZIP Wireless Mobile Photo Mini Printer: July 1st I am starting my memory planner and I am so excited. Each day you can pop in a simple picture from this pocket printer and write a little blurb about your day. As I get older the days blend into each other and I want to document our days in the easiest most simple way I can. This pocket printer is going to be my new BFF!!!
5- 12 Month Undated Happy Planner: This is the planner I am using for my memory planner:) It is not dated so you can start anytime you want. As well you can easily add in pages as you see fit. Here is what a memory journal can look like. I am so excited to get started with this and my pocket printer. I wanted to do a quarantine memory book but I didn’t discover memory planners until just a few weeks ago!
6- Sharpie Pens!: I’m obsessed with these pens! They write smoothly, dry fast, and are perfect for everyday use! They also don’t bleed through paper, which is a bonus when writing in your planner or journal.
That is my weekly AMAZON round up! I will share my memory planner as I go over the next few weeks:)
