We’ve all heard the saying “the days are long but the years are short” in regards to raising our children. Sometimes we get so caught up in the everyday trials and tribulations of motherhood that when we finally get a chance to stop and look around, our babies aren’t so little any more.
Here are 5 reasons to book a motherhood session ASAP:
1- It’s Time To Get Out From Behind The Camera
How many pictures do you have of your babies and YOU? I’m guessing not as many as you’d like. We remember to catch every amazing moment in our children’s lives but we rarely remember to get pictures of ourselves with them. We come up with excuses, like we want to lose 10lbs first, or we hate the bags under our eyes that so many sleepless nights caused. What we fail to remember is that someday we’ll wish we had these pictures. You’ll never regret getting the pictures taken, but you may regret not getting them done some day.
2- Our Kids Grow Up SO Fast!
Every age is sweet, but there’s something extra special about snuggles and little toes. There’s nothing quite like capturing the magic of childhood, with the magic maker ( that’s YOU!)
3- You Deserve To Treat Yourself
You work hard! You deserve to get dressed up and treat yourself to a photo session! Motherhood sessions are a fun excuse to get dolled up with your children and take photos that you’ll cherish forever.
4- Your Children Want Photos With You
How many pictures do you have with your own mother? Someday, your kids are going to be searching through albums looking for photos of you and them together. They’ll want to see you at this age, in this moment. They’ll want to see how you lovingly held them close. They won’t notice the crows feet or any other imaginary flaw you see in yourself. Instead, they’ll see how your loving eyes gazed in their direction, or how your nose scrunched when you laughed.
5- Yearly Photos Could Be A Fun Tradition
We’ve talked about how these moments are fleeting, so how fun would it be to have professional photos taken of you and your children every year? Motherhood sessions aren’t reserved for the new baby stage! Yearly sessions are a fun way to document your family as they grow.
I’m very excited to announce that we have a motherhood event happening VERY soon! Contact me to book for March 16th or April 6th! http://www.jannagobeil.com/blog/contact/
