February Skin Care Round Up

I rounded up a bunch of my favourite skin care essentials from Amazon. I do favour natural skin care and these picks are not necessarily that but still good finds.

Glycolic pads. – I have been using glycolic pads in my everyday routine for about a month and I have been loving the, What do they do ? They clears out pores, hydrate, brighten, and smooths out texture.

Vitamin C. This vitamin C has 20% in it which is hard to find as a lot of the ones on the market are %10. Vitamin C is a got to for me as it . what does Vitamin C do? Vitamin C promotes collagen production, which has the potential to thicken the dermis, diminish fine lines, and is essential for firm, youthful skin.

Hylaraounic acid I use this when I microneedle my skin.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a sugar found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump. The HA within our bodies holds a thousand times its weight in water to not only retain all that moisture in our skin and joints, but also prevent all that moisture from evaporating into the air, according to Dr. Lily Talakoub, a dermatologist at the McLean Dermatology and Skincare Center.

Face globes – Used for depuffing the skin

Jade roller – this jade roller and gua is a great deal. If your curios about what gua sha does here is a video explaining it.

Mask Brush. – I am just getting into masking these really help get your mask on evenly and they are cute!

Face steamer – is just the bomb really. It is soo soothing and hydrating and helps your skin care products absorb better.

The ordinary Peel – an absolute cult classic and the only peel I have used that works super well and is really affordable.

Plumping mask – anything plumping I am game for!!!

Welcome!

My name is Janna and I currently live in Saskatoon, Sask. I have an in home studio space that I use for shooting newborns, milestones and motherhood sessions.

All in all, I am surviving on coffee and very little sleep but I am happy. I have the privilege to work with absolutely wonderful families who trust me to hold their little bitty babies and honour me with the creation of their memories.  I do feel truly blessed. I would love to meet you and maybe learn a little bit about you and your family!
